At Cold Creek we strongly believe in the significance of the therapeutic relationship. We emphasize the importance of confidentiality, respect, and cooperation of all parties. We believe in the magnitude of a person asking for help with their addiction problems and the responsibility of the facility to offer the highest level of care possible. We view the recovery process as a team effort. It involves the relationships between the therapists or counselors with the clients, the support staff and the clients, and the administration, clinical team and the support staff together. We hold all of our staff accountable to the ethical standards and codes of conduct of their profession. With this mentality and keeping the client’s best interests at heart, make Cold Creek an amazing, rewarding, and therapeutic environment.
Cold Creek’s successful treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction is based on decades of research, studying and applying what works in addiction recovery. We use a full range of evidence-based and comprehensive therapies that are recognized by Columbia University and the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
Designed for success: The National Institute on Drug Abuse evaluated thousands of treatment outcomes. The most successful programs offer evidence based therapies in a limited enrollment setting designed around twelve clients. Cold Creek’s program is based on this model. There is no substitute for the individual attention offered by smaller programs with less than ten clients. To compliment this limited enrollment, we maintain an industry leading therapist to client ratio’s to ensure a successful recovery.
Our treatment philosophy is based on the recognition that alcohol and drug addiction is a disease and that abstinence is the ultimate goal. We approach addiction treatment in a holistic way, addressing the needs of mind, body and spirit as components of a balanced healthy life. We treat our clients and their families with respect, while providing a safe and comfortable environment optimized to facilitate healing.
We recognize that everyone comes to Cold Creek with a unique history and personal circumstances. No single treatment is appropriate for everyone. Matching treatment settings, interventions, and services to an individual’s particular needs is critical to his or her ultimate success in returning to productive functioning in the family, workplace, and society. Creating individualized treatment plans for our clients and their families is paramount to success. We achieve this using proven therapies, qualified staff and a limited enrollment program.
